Seeds are an excellent source of protein, which is perfect for those who are vegans or vegetarians. They contain plenty of minerals and protein as well as antioxidants. Many of the healthy compounds in seeds are the same compounds that are found in Nuts. Seeds are a great source of fiber, polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA’s) and Vitamin E. They are a very large category that includes cereals, Legumes and certain nuts.
