Flaxseed Oil ★
Flaxseed oil is rich in Linolenic Acid, which is a type of Omega 3 fatty acid. This type of Omega 3 is helpful in reducing the risk for heart disease and inflammation in the arteries.
This oil is especially helpful in the winter months when your blood is thicker. The oil allows your blood to flow more smoothly through the arteries and not clot as easily, which is why it’s great at reducing the risk for heart disease, heart attacks and strokes.
Flaxseed oil has more Omega 6 than Omega 3. Depending on your diet the oil may or may not be the best for you to have since too much Omega 6 in your diet can increase inflammation in your body. The ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 is 3:1, which is rare for most foods found in the western diet.
Mix Cranberry juice with Flaxseed oil to help your health. Fill a shot glass halfway with cranberry juice, add 4 drops of stevia (or sugar or honey if you prefer) and fill the rest with flaxseed oil.
