Emu are especially high in B vitamins like vitamin B12. Some sections of meat contain  100% of your  daily value (DV) in a 3 oz serving. Emu meat is low in fat and quite lean since these birds do not need to store much fat.

Like Ostrich, a 3 oz serving of Emu meat contains half your DV of protein. Even better, the proteins found in the meat are complete proteins. This means that the proteins contain the 9 amino acids our bodies need but can’t make. These amino acids are known as the essential amino acids.
